Maple Crest Health Center Hosts 31 Junior Social Work StudentsPosted on: May 7, 2014
On the morning of April 2nd, Professor Jieru Bai, PhD Assistant Professor at Grace Abbott School of Social Work at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, brought her 31 junior social work students to Maple Crest. The visit to Maple Crest was part of a bachelor's program at UNO - Human Behavior and Social Environment. A portion of the class centers on the study of geriatrics, and Professor Jieru brought the students to Maple Crest to get a flavor for the real working environment.
"This visit from students was very exciting for residents. We had an Easter egg coloring event and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves," said Maple Crest Marketing Director Barbara Reyes.
